Gamblin Cold Pressed Linseed Oil (CPLO) made in North America, is the finest quality in the world. Gamblin CPLO is pressed from seeds of white and yellow flowers exclusively so it has a a beautiful honey color. Dark yellow or brown linseed oils are contaminated with weeds seeds or other impurities so we recommend avoiding dark oils. CPLO was the binder of oil colors until the mid-19th century. Painters then demanded refined linseed oil that yellow less.
